The Boeing Company, which owns 80% of the Santa Susana Field Lab, plans to leave enough contamination on their land after the cleanup to cause “observed toxic or adverse effect” to the wildlife. Boeing knows they will cause irreparable harm to local widlife. They care about money more.

The Santa Susana Field Lab (SSFL) is one of the most polluted sites in California. Persistent chemicals, toxic metals, and radioactive waste have been detected in the air, groundwater, and the Los Angeles and Ventura County’s Calleguas Creek Watersheds.
We’re Running Out of Time
The Boeing Company, which owns most of the Santa Susana Field Lab (SSFL), plans to leave the great majority of their chemical contamination loose in the soil and groundwater in order to save money.
If we can’t stop Boeing, the Santa Susana Mountains will become a permanently polluted ecosystem - harming the land, air, water, wildlife, and people living nearby.
